What is the Living Wage? – it’s the hourly wage a worker needs to pay for the necessities of life and participate as an active citizen in the community. Being a Living Wage Employer makes a difference, employers talk about having reduced staff turnover, a more productive work environment and increased business as a direct result of paying a Living Wage. Workers talk about spending more time with their families, feeling valued, less stressed and consequently happier and more motivated in their workplaces.
For us it makes sense to support a movement that is simple yet powerful so For Purpose have recently become Living Wage accredited.
